Dear Friends,
Help represent our stake in the July 4th 250th Celebration Parade! We are looking for volunteers to help with our parade float featuring the historic 1929 Pocatello Fire Truck.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Banner Holders (2 volunteers): Walk at the front of the parade carrying the Highland Stake banner.
- Float Walkers (10 volunteers): Walk alongside the 1929 Pocatello Fire Truck, greet parade spectators, and hand out candy along the parade route.
Volunteers should arrive at the designated staging area (N Harrison Avenue) before the parade begins no later than 9:00 am; please check out this event website for more details. Kirk and Jill Kirkham have generously shared the vintage firetruck that will be driven. Please contact Jill Kirkham (208) 269-6397 if you need help finding our group at the staging area. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and festive clothing.
