Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Highland Stake,
The 9/11 Day of Service is a federally recognized National Day of Service and Remembrance and is the largest annual charitable day of service in our country. It is anticipated that millions of people in the United States will participate this year. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints supports this day of service and encourages all to participate!
We invite each of you to visit the 9/11 JustServe.org page and learn of a few ways you can participate in this day service. If you want to find more specific service opportunities in our community, visit JustServe.org and enter your zip code and see the multitude of ways to serve now and anytime throughout the year.
We have often been humbled in the past by your willingness to sacrifice and serve our brothers and sisters of all faiths, backgrounds and walks of life in the Pocatello/Chubbuck Community. We look forward to the outpouring of Christlike love you will share this year on this important day and throughout the year.
We thank you for your Christlike Service and express our love for each of you!
