Dear Members of the Highland Stake,
We received approval this morning from the County Commissioners to use the Portneuf Wellness Complex Amphitheater for our Multi-Stake Youth Concert Festival! Porteneuf
- Date: Saturday, August 17th
- Time: 8pm – 10:30pm
- Location: Portneuf Wellness Complex Amphitheater
- Details: Youth Celebration Video Concert from 8-9pm, followed by dancing from 9-10:30pm.
Our Responsibilities
- Adult chaperones from each stake with a minimum of 1:10 adult to youth ratio.
- All chaperones must have completed youth protection training.
- We are all responsible for cleaning up after the event.
Preparation
- All Young Men & Women:
- Please go to the Gospel Library App, Youth, Youth Music, Festival: A Youth Concert 2024 and become familiar with the songs.
- Parents please share this email with your youth and help them prepare, get excited and plan to participate in the clean up.
- Youth Presidencies:
- Please plan together how to invite all members of your class and quorum.
- Please also counsel together to think of your friends and neighbors you should invite to come with you.
- Bishoprics & Ward Young Women Presidencies:
- Please plan with your youth leaders to ensure each young man and woman receives a personal invitation to the event.
- Please ensure a minimum of adult chaperones are present for the number of your youth attending (minimum of 1:10 adult:youth).
- Bishoprics please let President Adam Matthews know:
- Your youth count
- Adult chaperone count
- 100% youth protection training for all adults attending
- Young Women Presidents please let President Wendy Jaglowski know:
- Your youth count
- Adult chaperone count
- 100% youth protection training for all adults attending
We are so excited to hold this last minute, fun event! And plan to give much more notice in the future.
This is an excellent opportunity to invite our friends and neighbors to join with us for singing, dancing, and celebrating our shared faith in Jesus Christ!
