The Living Christ Script

NATIVITY ROOM

Welcome.

Our Savior’s life began under the humblest of circumstances.

His mother Mary, and Joseph, both knew this baby would be the long-awaited Messiah.

They may have thought that a place for the baby’s birth would be provided for and that everything along the way would be made known to them.

But that turned out not to be the case. Watch and see how Mary & Joseph handled their unique situation.

Ideally, the host bears testimony of Jesus Christ after the video and before the group leaves the room

MIRACLES ROOM

Welcome.

Jesus inherited his human side from his mother Mary. But from his Father, he inherited divinity.

Jesus used that divinity to work wonderful miracles that proved he was the Messiah, and to bless the lives of the people – sometimes in very compassionate, and personal, ways.

Ideally, the host bears testimony of Jesus Christ after the video and before the group leaves the room

TEACHINGS ROOM

Welcome.

Jesus was and is our ultimate example. During his life on earth, he taught about his divinity, the gospel, and how we should treat each other. Here are just a few of the things Jesus taught.

Ideally, the host bears testimony of Jesus Christ after the video and before the group leaves the room

CHAPEL

In the chapel, here is a sample introduction and talking points for the Living Christ video:

Every year, Easter allows us to remember the life, suffering, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please join me in watching this brief video about the Savior’s life…

(Living Christ Video)

Ideally, the host bears testimony of Jesus Christ after the video, then:

Each Sunday, we have the opportunity to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, as He asked us to do during the Last Supper. Here at the sacrament table (gestures to the image of a prepared Sacrament Table on an easel placed on the Sacrament Table)

we have prepared broken bread symbolizing his body broken for us, and water symbolizing his blood that was spilled for us. Everyone who wishes can partake of the sacrament, and time is provided for personal reflection as these symbols are passed to the congregation.

Remembering the sacrifice of our Savior is the focus of our weekly Sunday sacrament meetings, and all are invited to come and participate.

We hope that all of you have enjoyed the chance to come here tonight and celebrate the Easter season.

We hope that you remember the Savior Jesus Christ throughout the year.
