Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Highland Stake:
We are pleased to invite you to prepare for our upcoming stake conference.
By assignment from the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, our conference will be held Saturday and Sunday, January 20 and 21. We invite you all to prepare by inviting your friends, those you minister to, and your neighbors to join us as we worship the Lord through inspired instruction, music, and prayer. We also invite you to prepare in advance by prayerfully studying and pondering the Book of Mormon each day and worshiping in the temple. As you do these things, please ask the Lord to guide your thoughts and provide you with inspired questions to bring to the conference as you seek to be taught by the Spirit of the Lord. We trust that God will hear and answer your prayers. The schedule of meetings for this conference are as follows:
Saturday, January 20th
- 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm Expanded Leadership Meeting
- Who should attend: All members of stake and ward councils and members of their presidencies, all ward mission leaders, all ward temple and family history leaders.
- Where: Stake center (no broadcast for this meeting)
- 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Adult Meeting
- Who should attend: All adults, ages 18 and older.
- Where: Live at the stake center and broadcast to the Butte, Fairway, and Michelle buildings.
Sunday, January 21st
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm General Meeting
- Who should attend: All friends, members, and neighbors who live within the Highland stake.
- Where: Live at the stake center and broadcast to the Butte, Fairway, and Michelle buildings.
We are grateful for those who are preparing to share their faith and testimony through music, prayer, and inspired instruction. Please pray for them and ask the Lord to bless us all to have spiritually edifying experiences in this conference. We love you all and look forward to gathering with you to worship the Lord. We pray that our Heavenly Father will bless you all with His very best blessings for your personal circumstances and trust that as you make and keep covenants with Him, He will.
