Dear Highland Stake Friends,
For the upcoming community event, “The Living Christ”, held on March 31 – April 3, our stake has been asked to provide musical selections on Wednesday, April 1, and Friday, April 3.
This event, sponsored by the Highland and Highland South Stakes, will feature videos, narration, music and artwork depicting events in Jesus Christ’s life from His birth to His resurrection. We hope that we, our neighbors and friends will come together to celebrate the Easter season and remember the Lord Jesus Christ!
For this specific request, we are looking for individuals to provide five Christ-centered musical numbers. These can be:
- Vocal solos or ensembles
- Instrumental numbers
- Choir or small group performances
- Cultural or other musical expressions that focus on the Savior
The performance time slots are:
Wednesday, April 1
- 8:00 PM
- 8:25 PM
Friday, April 3
- 7:40 PM
- 8:05 PM
- 8:30 PM
Performances will be held in the cultural hall at the stake center on Satterfield Drive.
If you or someone in your ward would be willing to provide a musical number, please email Brother Sheldon Harris with:
- The performer(s) name(s)
- The title of the musical number
- Type of performance (vocal, instrumental, etc.)
- Approximate length
It would be wonderful to showcase a variety of talent from across the stake as we focus our hearts on the Savior during the Easter season.
