After much prayer and consideration with the Stake Primary Presidency, we have received the  peaceful affirmation of the Holy Ghost regarding some adjustments to our Stake Baptismal Services  for children of record. The adjustments below will begin with our baptismal services on January 2,  2021.

We will now be holding individual baptismal services for each child and their family. The family, in  consultation with the Ward Primary Presidency, will plan their own baptismal service. Each child and family will have 20-25 minutes in the Relief Society room. After the baptism ordinance,  the family will have up to 75 minutes in an adjacent room for: talk, Ordinance of Confirmation,  remainder of service, and time to spend together unhurried.

We hope, and have great faith, that by these small and simple adjustments – great things will come to  pass, even miracles. We invite all stake members to please invite less-active members and those of  other faiths to these more intimate, spiritual services. Please let a ward council member know if you  have invited a less-active or nonmember so the ward council can plan accordingly. We are confident that these adjustments will make our stake baptismal services crucial, monthly  opportunities to invite and gather Israel.
