Lamb of God and Walk with Christ

Dear Friends,

As we commemorate our Savior’s life, atonement and resurrection during this Holy Week and on Easter Sunday, we want to make you aware/remind you of some wonderful community and church events and opportunities.

Several “Lamb of God” performances are being held, with two in Pocatello (Stephens Performing Arts Center) this Saturday, March 30th at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm (see this website: Lamb of God and the attached flyer for more information and dates of additional performances); these performances are free the public.

Also, many of our fellow brothers and sisters in our community are attending Good Friday and Easter services this weekend; we invite you to reach out to those you know of other faiths and learn more about their beliefs and attend with them if possible and also invite them to participate in our Easter Sunday Sacrament services this coming Sunday.

In addition, the annual “Walk with Christ” event is happening Tuesday – Friday, April 2nd – 5th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm each evening (see the attached flyer for more information).

Finally, we will be blessed to participate in General Conference April 6th and 7th and receive some marvelous instruction, invitations and promised blessings. As part of our Holy Week activities and in preparation for conference, we invite you to prayerfully study the scriptures related to Holy Week and Easter and to read/listen to Elder Gary E. Stevenson’s talk, “The Greatest Easter Story Ever Told” and President Nelson’s Easter message “Forgiving Others: An Easter Message from President Russell M. Nelson” and act on the promptings of the Holy Ghost that come to your heart and mind.

We witness of our Saviors redeeming love for all of God’s children and the joy this can bring into our lives and express our love for each of you. May you make this a blessed and peaceful Easter weekend!

With love,

Highland Stake Presidency
